Samarpan provides devotional sheet music and musical practice tools.
Offline music and microphone
Bundled scores, local favorites and appearance choices are stored on your device. The pitch tuner requests microphone access only when you start listening. Microphone samples are processed in memory on your device, are not recorded, and are not uploaded. You can revoke microphone access through your device settings.
Optional account and support
If you choose Google, Apple, or email-and-password sign-in, Firebase Authentication processes the credentials and account identifiers needed to authenticate you. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not included in app analytics or support reports. Feedback submitted through the older feedback form is stored with your authenticated user ID in Cloud Firestore. The Contact us page lets you submit your name, reply email, category, message, optional screenshots and the app/device details shown in the form. With your consent, these are sent through a Cloudflare Worker to a confidential GitLab support work item. Account sign-in is not required for Contact us; Firebase App Check verifies the app. The relay briefly stores rate-limit counters and request fingerprints/references to prevent abuse and duplicate reports, without storing message bodies or screenshots. Support work items are retained until resolved or removal is requested, subject to operational or legal requirements. Email drafts open your mail app and are sent only when you choose to send them. Email drafts do not also create an in-app work item. Review screenshots and remove private information before sending. Contact apps@pragyan.tech for support-data deletion requests.
Backups and local usage
If you choose cloud backup, your appearance settings, saved-song IDs, search choices and personal spellings are stored beneath your authenticated Samarpan account. Automatic backup is optional. Clipboard/file backups remain under your control. Account identity, advertising/analytics consent, access approvals and diagnostic events are excluded from preference backups. Local usage summaries remain on your device and can be paused or cleared in Settings; they are separate from optional Firebase Analytics.
Advanced access
App Information displays the native device ID and Firebase installation ID. A hidden advanced-access request may send those identifiers and a Firebase authentication token to the configured Samarpan access service to check administrator approval and record the result. Without that service, server-enforced Firestore checks can validate an approved account or native device ID. Tapping the version label alone does not grant access. Approval is independent of analytics consent.
Diagnostics and analytics
Google Firebase Analytics collects launch diagnostics and app interactions during the first 120 seconds of each launch or return after at least one minute in the background, even when the analytics setting is off. Remote configuration may extend this diagnostic window. After the window, collection follows your saved analytics setting. Analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default unless you have saved a different choice; Crashlytics follows that saved choice throughout. Events include app version/build, platform, device model/OS, screen and control identifiers, design preferences, feature outcomes, and coarse session timing. Typed text, microphone audio, feedback bodies, passwords, authentication tokens, account identifiers and personal file names are excluded from these events. You can change continued analytics and crash reporting in Settings.
Advertising
Advertising is remotely controlled. When enabled, Google AdMob and its consent platform may process device and network information, app interactions and advertising-related identifiers. The app requests non-personalized ads and applies the selected age band and applicable consent choices. Users who choose under 13 or do not provide an eligible age preference are not served ads by the app. Ad privacy options are available in Settings. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Downloads
Optional score updates use encrypted HTTPS connections to Firebase Hosting or Cloudflare R2. These services receive the network information needed to deliver files. Downloads are checked for integrity before use.
Deletion and control
Use Delete account in Settings to delete your Firebase account and associated cloud preferences and feedback. This does not delete bundled music or local favorites. Contact apps@pragyan.tech for privacy requests, including any support records held in external support systems. Operational or legal requirements may require retention of certain records; any such request will be handled according to applicable requirements.
Service providers
The configured service providers are Google Firebase/AdMob, Cloudflare and, when enabled for support, GitLab. We do not upload your microphone audio or sell it to advertisers.
Website privacy
This informational website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or sign-in. Firebase Hosting receives network information, including your IP address and request details, to deliver pages securely. Email links open your mail app; messages you send are processed to respond to your request.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as Samarpan changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Voice input
Voice input uses the device’s offline speech recognizer when supported. Audio is not saved or uploaded. Recognized words are inserted into the chosen text field. Submitted searches and recently opened songs stay on the device until cleared; they are not included in account backups. Some devices or installed languages do not support offline recognition.
Trial eligibility and Premium
The app stores its first-launch date, distinct local days of use, welcome completion and verified purchase entitlement locally to manage the free month, initial ad-free usage period and Premium access. These essential records are separate from optional analytics and are not reset by clearing optional usage summaries or restoring a preference backup. Premium checkout and restore use your signed-in account and send store purchase verification data to the configured authenticated Samarpan billing service. The store processes payment; the app does not collect card details.
